HOROSCOPE

AquariusAquarius: Jan 20 - Feb 18

As an Aquarian golfer you are in the company of some of the game's greatest players, including Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Nick Price and Jose Marie Olazabal, as well as two-time US Open Champion, Curtis Strange. The Aquarius golfer plays smart and is always one step ahead of the competition in their approach to the game. They always try to play their best and never concede defeat until the last putt drops. As the symbol of their sign the "water bearer" demonstrates, Aquarian golfers do particularly well on courses located near an ocean, river or other bodies of water. Some of the best rounds you play could very well happen on links-style courses.

Par GazerAs an Aquarian you are not only fascinated by the game of golf but other mysteries as well, things not normally meant to be judged by mortal man. As Aquarius is the sign of "genius" it is sometimes difficult to resist the impulse to over-analize the swing and may cause you frustration. When this happens it is best to lighten up, forget all the things you think you should be doing and just swing the club. More than three swing "keys" will paralyze you anyway. Through your intense study of things mechanical you have developed your own style of play and while your swing may not be considered "classical" you are able to score well most times when you put your mind to it.

Ruled by the planet Uranus, you are a realist. However, you secretly delight in shocking those more conventional with your erratic behavior, on and off the links. You have the ability to set a course record on any given day but more often than not settle for shooting at or just below your handicap.

The AQUARIUS Fore!Cast

No other sign of the Zodiac can claim the positive relationship to golf as shown by Aquarians. It is no accident that many of the world's greatest champions are Aquarians, and you too have the intelligence, creativity and skill to succeed in this most demanding game. Born in the first phase of the new year you are especially open to new ideas, change and experimentation, a trait that has a great impact on your game. Aquarians that are just taking up the game enjoy rapid improvement and often reach a level of play that takes others much longer to achieve.

Signs point to an increased level of proficiency with those pesky long-irons. The number 3 has special significance to an Aquarian so pay particular attention to the 3-iron, especially when between clubs. Water hazards to an Aquarian are less of a hinderance so never lay up on a par 5 with a water feature guarding the green. Travel to a distant land with clubs in hand is on the horizon and as Mars aligns with your sign in the spring a positive resolution of a financial matter points to having a career round with a friend who is a Virgo. For Aquarians, friendships are very important. You are a humanitarian who cares about others and the members of your regular foursome value your participation.
